Rights
Here Come The Mummies is happy to allow tapers to come in and "do their thing" in regards to both audio and video. Enjoy the shows, trade the shows, be happy. This policy applies EXCLUSIVELY to the non-commercial, royalty-free exploitation of shows.
Here Come The Mummies would like to request copies of both audio and video for their own amusement, with video possibly being put to use for promotional reasons only - such as electronic Press Kit or something of that nature.
If video is used for such purposes, credits will be given.
It is the opinion of the trained audio professionals at Here Come The Mummies that board tapes do not represent a proper balance for playback, thus outputs from the mixing desk will not be allowed, with the possible exception of a feed to video because it is accepted that the built in microphones of video cameras are unable to handle the SPL of the job at hand.
Microphone rigs are acceptable as well, so long as they will not interfere with the capabilities of any audience members to get their grooves on or their ya ya's out.
The band will endeavor to notify the venue of this policy but will demur to the policies set forth by the venue in case there is a "No Taping" policy in place there.
If anyone runs into a problem on show day, they may be able to contact King Williams on his mobile phone at 615-419-1100.
The preceeding taping policy was sent in an email granting the LMA permission on 5/23/2005
